Sponsorship policy
Corporate Joker is for employees. Any money we take has to leave that untouched.
What we never accept
- HR-tech or "workforce analytics" vendors selling to employers.
- Employee monitoring, surveillance or "productivity tracking" software.
- Any company currently in a public labour dispute, or one we are covering.
- "Wellness" products that treat a workplace problem as a personal failing.
- Courses or coaching that promise to fix your career if you just work harder.
What we might accept
Books, tools and services that explain how work works or protect the people doing it: labour history, plain-language rights guides, privacy tools, good headphones for open offices.
How it's labelled
Every sponsored post says so at the top, in plain words, on every platform. Affiliate links on our reading list are marked. A sponsor never sees a story before it runs, never chooses what we cover, and never changes a word.
Stories come first
If a sponsor ends up in the news for the things we write about, we cover them like anyone else, and the sponsorship ends.
